Course Details
Do you wish you could always predict how your dog is going to exit a tunnel on course? You can do just that by teaching a clear set of tunnel verbals!
This workshop will show you how to teach the three most important and useful tunnel verbals: go straight, soft turn, and hard turn. We will be teaching them from the ground up and then focusing on proofing all three verbals as well. The goal will be to have your dog understand how to perform each of the verbals out of a tunnel with little to no verbal support, allowing you to keep moving on course and not to have to rely on your motion to help your dog to complete the correct tunnel exit.
These verbals are particularly important for dogs who look to you too much exiting tunnels or have already decided where they are going before they've even exited a tunnel. It can also be a game changer for tunnel suckers!
No matter your dog's relationship with tunnels, you and your dog will leave this workshop with a better understanding of how to manage them on course and perfect your obstacle performance.
