Course Details
Accuracy is an important part of Obedience and Rally. But if we work too hard on accuracy, our dogs tend to lose speed. Conversely, if we have too much speed, we lose accuracy. It’s a delicate balancing act!! In this workshop you will learn games and techniques to get and maintain speed within an exercise. I will show you how to break down pieces of an exercise to teach accuracy. And how to turn accuracy into a fun game. As the dog gains confidence and understanding, their speed increases naturally. We will look at how to develop a training program that balances motivation with precision. This balance needs to be maintained throughout a dog’s career. Whether you are just starting out on your training journey, or your dog is a seasoned competitor, this workshop can help improve your dog’s performance.
