Switching back and forth between different venues has its challenges, especially at the higher levels. Keeping track of rules and "how to play the game" is only a piece of the puzzle!
We will dive into hide placement, odor strengths, and training for specific challenges each venue presents. The webinar will help you create a training plan to best work NACSW NW3 blanks compared with AKC master interior. We will break down strategy and search needs between NACSW Elite and AKC Detective.
The webinar will primarily focus on AKC and NACSW, but the same concepts can apply to many different venues!
About the Instructor:
Aleks is an AKC Scent Work Judge, NACSW COT, and ASCA Scent Work Judge. She competes regularly in AKC and NACSW with her flat-coated retrievers Tana & Georges. Aleks and Tana recently went from 1st place at an NACSW Summit and the following weekend to win High in Trial Masters at the largest AKC trial to date. She teaches regularly in person and online, having students excelling in AKC, NACSW, C-Wags, UKC, and other organizations.
When Aleks is not surrounded by birch, she's a Certified Canine Massage Practitioner (CCMT ACMT) and Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CPCFT).
