Instructor: Loretta Mueller
Course Details
Bring your handling to a higher level by going back to the basics!!
This course will continue to build on the skills we have learned in AG 110 and AG 120. Students need to be well versed in the skills presented in the previous classes as we will be building on those skills and introducing new ones. We dive into the technical aspect of all handling and how it pertains to the dog, to the courses, and to the handlers. There will be weekly courses to analyze as well as run! This is a high intensity class that really goes deep into the methods of handling using a motion based system.
Please see syllabus for more information.

Testimonials & Reviews
A sampling of what prior students have said about this course ...
All Loretta's Agility Foundations course have been brilliant to instil a great foundation in my handling and also to inject real enthusiasm into my dog's attitude to agility. Holly's view of agility has gone form 'meh' to 'more' and 'when do we start?' As a handler, I have learnt so much more than in 2 years of regular classes. Loretta's feedback is always targeted and timely. She shines as an amazingly caring and talented teacher. Now the US team is going to use her talents - how fortunate are we to have experience what they will soon be experiencing? Wendy R
I'm not sure Loretta ever sleeps. She gives the most detailed and thorough review of every video, all the while cheering people on. I simply cannot believe how much I learned in 6 weeks. And we had a ball. Mary Ann
Loretta is simply the best. Of all the gold classes I've taken, she gives the most detailed feedback. ..second by second breakdown in slow motion. She has helped me immensely with the things on her syllabus, has helped me with things no where in her syllabus, and has helped me put together and execute skills that I've learned in other classes, and just haven't been able to integrate in my own. I live the demo videos, as well as the addition of the lecture videos. I like how she explains and freezes to point out things as she walks the course. I would take any course Loretta offered.
Loretta is the best! This is my fourth course with Loretta and I'm looking forward to taking more courses with her. The additional video lectures were very helpful. I love how she included 1/4 speed in the videos. The diagrams are great. Her feedback is supportive and very helpful.
This class was amazing and is more information than I had ever expected, it was fantastic.
I can't believe how much I learned in just 6 weeks! Loretta does an amazing job at breaking down hard techniques into easy to understand pieces. I've learned so much about my dog from her and she always brings out the best in both of us. We were really struggling with before we started working with Loretta but now we're becoming a great team! - Steffi D.
Taking Loretta's handling classes is like taking two or three seminars a week. She offers helpful feedback to handlers that includes insight into their relationship with their dogs. Carol B "In general", I wish you would stop offering so many classes that I NEED so I can pay for them AND absorb all the information that is available from your high-caliber instructors.
