Is there a way to display all of the pages of a thread at once to make saving easier?

Unfortunately, you have to save one page at a time.

I saved mine as a PDF and it shows all the pages in one file

Yes, that is what I've done before, but I was hoping to skip the step of PDFing each page first.

Thanks for the replies.

I use Evernote, and the Evernote Web Clipper magically saves all the pages of each thread with one click if I use the "save article" option. I'm not sure how or why, but it works for me!

Lisa, I'm using Evernote mainly on my PC desktop. Evernote is an app that also can be downloaded for the your phone or tablet as well. The Evernote Web Clipper is a Chrome browser extension, that's what I'm using to actually save the gold threads. It seems to recognize the forum software and when you clip a topic, it'll save all pages of that topic.

Here's what my evernote app looks like on the computer with some of my saved gold threads.

Christine - when I try to use the Evernote web clipper it tells me I don't have permission to view that page

Katie - are you sure you are logged in when you try to save it? Try reloading the page and then clipping the article.

Although, for some reason Evernote has stopped saving entire multi-page posts for me. It'll repeat the first page multiple times instead. The recent update must have screwed something up. Oh well. It was nice while it lasted. I'm back to saving each page separately.

Hi Natasha,

Several months ago I got very confused by all the posts on one of the FB Fenzi pages that described various ways to save threads. I was having a lot of computer problems and couldn't figure out how to save the threads on my old computer. So I tried several suggestions by students on the FB page. None of them worked for me. I had to copy and paste paragraphs into Word to save what I could.

Fortunately, my issues have resolved and your info seems to be working fine for me. Plus, no more copy and paste!

Thanks for all your hard work.

Carol

Just checking-

My mac saved my gold level head to a .webarchive on my desktop. Will this allow me to keep the thread after it has been removed from the forum?

Thanks,

Amy

Hi Amy,

Here's a way to test: turn off your wifi and see. If the file is local on your computer, it will work without a network connection.
