Kayla Dever
Kayla Dever KPA-CTP is the founder, owner and lead trainer at Every Dog Nosework in Rochester Hills, MI. Kayla is a trial host for NACSW, a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, TagTeach-certified and has worked with many nosework teams from the introductory to elite levels.
Outside of nosework, Kayla is a registered nurse working in oncology.
Prior to her nosework career, Kayla worked extensively with multiple guide and service dog organizations and has an extensive background in behavior training and preparing working dogs.
Kayla is a multi Summit-title holder with overall first and third placements, earned overall pronounced at Elite and NW3, and multiple high in trials at the Elite and NW3 levels with multiple dogs. She is currently actively competing at the Summit and Elite levels in NACSW with her black labs, Brennan and Davey, and Shetland Sheepdog, Flynn, and has titled to the highest levels in multiple other nosework venues (AKC, UKC, CPE).
Kayla believes that nosework is for every dog and focuses her teaching on supporting both ends of the leash.
