That Face Oughta be in Movies: Skills Your Dog Needs to Become an Animal ActorTeach your favorite furry face to hear: Ready! Set! ACTION!In this workshop, Barbara Lloyd will go over the most important skills your dog needs to know in order to be a qualified Animal Actor and teach you how to get your dog camera ready.As a veteran Movie Set & Photoshoot dog mom, Barbara will also share the ins & outs of the business. Barbara’s mixed breed dog and Certified Animal Actor, Dori Time, will star in the demos!
The specific skills that will be taught in this workshop include:How to use a Target Stick with your dog to prepare them for set work & photo shootsVoguing—teaching your dog how to pose and have different facial expressionsHurry up and wait! How to hang out on setPosing with productsHow to start a RetrieveHow to teach your dog to take an object to a “place” or “person”How to take star quality photos of your future star!Supplies needed:- dinner fork
- tennis ball or another quasi hard toy your dog likes, that you can cut into
- a 3 foot long, and approximately 1/2 inches in diameter wooden dowel or sturdy piece of PVC pipe
- stool large enough for your dog to sit on
- phone with a camera or a camera
- Muffin Tin
- Treats
- an object or toy you think your dog may like to carry
