Every single exercise starts with a setup. And setups can be challenging. The dog is sitting, the judge is nearby and there are a multitude of distractions. Setups set the tone for what comes next. If your dog struggles to maintain focus and engagement it will bleed into the exercise. In this workshop we will look at creating setups that keep the dog focused and having fun. You will learn how to teach your dog to offer active engagement. You will learn how to handle setups confidently. I will show you how to teach your dog to have a positive association with judge pressure and distractions on setups. This workshop can benefit dogs of all training levels…beginner through advanced. Learn how to set your dog up for success!
