Course Details
Command Discrimination (CD) is one of the most difficult exercises in obedience. There are six possible combinations. Add to that distance and pressure and you have an exercise that is extremely difficult for our dogs. Your dog CAN learn to love this exercise, and so can you! In this workshop we will explore how to teach your dog to handle pressure in a way that creates a positive conditioned emotional response. I will teach you games to create engagement at a distance. We will look at how to deal with errors in a way that creates clarity and confidence. When all the skills in this workshop are mastered, your dog will be ready to perform CD in the ring with poise and confidence. This is the second in a series. Each workshop can stand alone
Note: This is a repeat workshop that has run previously under a different course number. Please review your workshop library to make sure this would not be a duplicate purchase.
