Course Details
Command Discrimination (CD) is one of the most difficult exercises in obedience. There are six possible combinations. Then we add distance and pressure resulting in an exercise that is extremely difficult for our dogs. Your dog CAN learn to love this exercise, and so can you! In this workshop we will explore how to establish a solid foundation that will hold up under the rigors of competition. We will establish a foundation that counters the urge for forward motion. We will teach our dogs that changing positions is just a series of tricks. We will use a target to optimize success and create a positive emotional response with the exercise. This is part one of a two-part series. Each workshop can stand alone.
Note: This is a repeat workshop that has run previously under a different course number. Please review your workshop library to make sure this would not be a duplicate purchase.
