Course Details
Do you have an overly social dog or puppy? Dreams of trialing but are worried that your dog will think the judge is their new best friend? In this workshop, we'll take a systematic approach to teaching your dog to work around their greatest distraction. We will cover how to keep your dog successful, when to increase difficulty and what to do if your dog makes a mistake. While this workshop doesn't cover how your dog greets people (manners aren't the goal here!), we will help them learn when they can socialize!
Working spot dogs will need to have one or two simple behaviors on cue and have a willing human volunteer or two at their disposal!
Note: This is a repeat workshop that has run previously under a different course number. Please review your workshop library to make sure this would not be a duplicate purchase.
