Instructor: Shade Whitesel
This course teaches the foundation behaviors that any high drive dog should have before starting serious competition training. Shaping, luring, teaching rear end awareness, how to use platforms, imprinting heel position, finishes and fronts are all covered in this class. Check out the syllabus for more details. High drive dogs can be more prone to frustration while learning their skills, so get ready to learn as handlers how to best teach your motivated and quick dog.
For those of you familiar with the Drives and Control series, this class consists of the behavior skills and puts them all in one class. No play skills or how to put play into obedience skills will be covered in this class. Because this course is 2 classes worth of skills put into one class, it is incredibly material heavy.
